APM Employment Services is seeking an Employment Coach to join our team at Seven Hills, NSW within APM Futures . About APM – A global health and human services organization that has been transforming lives since 1994. About The Role As an Employment Coach , you will provide tailored employment support to NDIS participants, early school leavers and other clients, helping them achieve vocational goals and build sustainable career pathways. You will motivate, mentor and support personal growth, helping participants develop and establish their vocational identity and tailoring support to their individual needs. Key Responsibilities Deliver tailored, hands‑on support to a small group of participants, ensuring a highly consultative and responsive approach to individual needs. Provide mentorship that fosters personal growth, encourages skill development, and enhances participants’ capacity for meaningful employment. Offer person‑centred assistance to individuals transitioning from school to work, supporting their journey with empathy and strategic guidance. Facilitate workplace integration by providing on‑site support once employment commences, helping participants adjust and thrive in their roles. Collaborate with employers to offer consultation and support, promoting inclusive practices and sustainable employment outcomes. Design and implement personalised learning strategies that scaffold each student’s transition from school to further education, training or employment. Advise students on meaningful post‑school pathways, helping them build functional and fulfilling lives aligned with their strengths and aspirations. Engage directly with students through school‑based sessions, while also offering services within community settings and APM offices. Conduct dynamic workshops covering topics such as employer networking, personal development, skill building, social‑emotional learning and career planning. Qualifications & Requirements We welcome applicants from diverse professional backgrounds, including Youth Services, NDIS, Community Services and Employment Services. The ideal candidate is a resilient, resourceful problem solver who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of young people with disabilities as they pursue employment opportunities. Essential Criteria Eligibility to work in Australia. Current driver’s licence and access to a fully insured vehicle. Valid First Aid and CPR certification. Willingness to undergo a Criminal History Check.li> Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and an NDIS Worker Screening Check. Commitment to completing the NDIS Worker Orientation module prior to commencement. Flexibility to travel as required to support service delivery and participant engagement. Availability to work part‑time, three days a week between Monday and Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Benefits Base salary plus performance‑based incentives that reward your success.
