The Microbiomics Group (TMG) leads the way in Natural Ingredient development and supply, microbiomics and commercial production of probiotics and synbiotics, and blends for technical ingredients for the FMCG, animal and human supplement space. TMG is committed to scientific excellence and innovation, commercialising its globally awarded breakthrough scientific discoveries across three corporate brands/divisions. The Position: Full Time. Salary commensurate with experience. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role is based in one of our manufacturing facilities located in Mittagong NSW. The Site Manager will oversee the people, process, place, quality and safety of the manufacturing facility. The Site Manager will be required to bring technical understanding of good manufacturing process, combined with strong organisational skills and an engaging approach to team leadership to drive business KPI's. As a demonstrated dynamic team player, your broad understanding of operational functions (including LEAN, safety, finance and quality), in addition to your adaptability and up-skilling capabilities would be well regarded. Key Responsibilities Include: Deliver agreed production plans within budget, ensuring conversion of raw materials to ready-to-deliver stock.This will include inventory management activities. Maintain and refine best practice systems and processes across the site, adhering to the Company Production System. Prioritize product and people safety on factory floors, controlling risks to employees, customers, and consumers. Maintain a balanced scorecard of KPIs, with an initial focus on improving product quality, delivery, and financial returns. With an absolute commitment to quality, this position is responsible for adherence to all quality and safety processes. The incumbent will act in, and ensure compliance with, all company policies including but not limited to: Quality, Safety, Product Safety, Environmental, GMPs, and HACCP. Lead all process documentation updates for industrialized processes including, but not limited to SOP’s, batch sheets and training documents. Demonstrate excellent leadership skills and qualities to represent and implement the Company’s Vision, Values and Organisational model with a view to enhancing culture, communication and value. Qualifications: 3+ year’s experiencewithin a production leadership role in the manufacturing industry. Demonstrated collaborative leadership style that embodies effective communication (both written and verbal) with senior leaders as well as people from all walks of life. Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills. Experiencewith production equipment and automation will be highly regarded.
