About Hillgrove Hillgrove Resources (ASX:HGO) is a growing Australian copper producer based in the Adelaide Hills, just 55km from the Adelaide CBD. Operating since 2005, we completed open‑pit mining at Kanmantoo in 2020, began developing our underground mine in 2023, and transitioned to full underground copper production in 2024. Our well‑capitalised operation includes a 3‑3.6Mtpa processing plant and surface infrastructure. We are actively exploring high‑potential targets across our extensive South Eastern Copper Project tenements in South Australia. About the Role The Underground Truck Driver/Nipper is an essential part of the underground mining team, responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of ore, waste, and materials. This position supports production outcomes and requires flexibility, strong communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a safety‑first environment. Key Responsibilities Operating underground haul trucks, light vehicles, and other machinery safely and efficiently. Transporting ore, waste, equipment, and consumables in line with production and shift plans. Delivering and stocking materials across surface and underground areas, supporting continuous operations. Assisting mining activities by setting up work areas, supporting extraction, and coordinating closely with Jumbo and Bogger operators. Maintaining high safety standards through pre‑start checks, hazard reporting, compliance with procedures, and strong housekeeping. Support environmental and sustainability practices. Communicating effectively and working collaboratively across crews, showing flexibility, resilience, and a positive, team‑focused attitude. About You We are seeking an experienced underground operator with strong haul truck skills and a proven commitment to safety. You follow site procedures, work confidently in fast‑paced mining environments, and maintain a high standard of equipment care. To succeed in this role, you’ll be adaptable and ready to step into Nipper duties whenever required, supporting both production and underground logistics.
