Join to apply for the Electrical Engineer role at ArcTree Advisory Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you’ll be responsible for the end‑to‑end design, development, testing, and implementation of electrical and safety control systems across a diverse range of high‑performance machinery. Your role will require strong technical expertise in both hardware and control software systems. Responsibilities Design and develop electrical systems and control panels for industrial motion equipment, including PCB designs Develop integrated control systems with a focus on safety PLCs and functional safety Select and integrate motors, gearboxes, VSDs, VFDs, and servo systems Lead system commissioning, testing, and documentation, both in‑house and onsite Collaborate with the team to develop and test prototypes Skills & Attributes Formal qualifications in Electrical engineering and/or Electrical Design Strong knowledge of motors, VSDs, VFDs, servo systems, power braking, and industrial automation Hands‑on experience with safety PLCs and overarching control architecture Demonstrated experience with motors, gearboxes, electrical braking, hoists, trolleys, pile winds, drive controllers and electrical safety systems Benefits Be rewarded with an attractive salary + superannuation plus continued investment in your career and personal development, with industry‑leading support and mentoring.
