Continue with Google Continue with Google Continue with Google Continue with Google Continue with Google Continue with Google In This Role You Will Have The Opportunity ToProvide therapy to individual clients as delegated or under supervision of Allied Health Professionals Complete standardized assessments as delegated and within your competence level Conduct group therapy programs under the guidance of Allied Health Professionals, monitoring client responses and adjusting programs to meet client needs Follow therapist directions, provide timely feedback on interventions, and accurately record clinical notes Maintain equipment by performing safety checks, organizing maintenance, monitoring client loans, and ensuring appropriate invoicing Monitor and order clinical supplies and equipment, sourcing suppliers and specialists items as needed Provide administrative support such as maintaining client education materials, treatment room supplies, patient area tidiness, statistics, and audits Complete Allied Health Assistant Core Competencies within first six months and participate in continuing education About YouTo be successful in this role you will have:Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent experience An understanding of client centred care and community health principles Excellent communication, time management and interpersonal skills An ability to relate comfortably to a wide range of clients Ability to work independently and as part of the multi-disciplinary team Ability to document relevant assessments and evaluate interventions The ability to be self-directed and work independently Working in a large and complex healthcare system (desirable) About UsAs a small rural health service, we offer a friendly work environment where you can quickly build rapport with patients.
