Medication Aide

Job Summary Must have CNA License . As a medication aide, you assist senior residents in their daily well‑being, including personal services, medication assistance, and social‑recreational activities. You will report to the Wellness Director. We offer incentives, shift differentials, free meals, and more. Our residents and team make Regency Newcastle an amazing place to work. Key Responsibilities Complete nursing treatments and monitor residents' vital signs. Maintain medication/treatment records, comply with regulatory, OSHA, and incident reporting guidelines. Communicate with physician, pharmacy, and family as indicated to ensure medications are received promptly. Store medications and equipment and keep the medication room clean and orderly. Follow the resident service plan, including assistance with bathing, grooming, administering medication, and other activities of daily living (ADLs), and note changes in resident condition. Demonstrate knowledge of and follow infection control procedures. Support the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and home‑like environment for residents. Qualifications Typical candidates have six months of experience in senior caregiving or medication pass. Can obtain CPR/BLS certification. Compose reports in English.
