A respected engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join its growing team based in Brisbane. This role is hands‑on, collaborative, and varied – ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, mentoring others, and working on infrastructure that matters. You’ll be part of a team that includes two Principal Geotechnical Engineers, company directors who are actively involved, and a group of graduate and undergraduate engineers who are eager to learn. The projects span across transport, slope stability, and civil infrastructure with strong links to TMR, councils, and mid‑tier contractors. This is not a business where you’ll be siloed; you’ll be part of the engine room and included in leadership. What You’ll Be Doing Leading geotechnical design and investigation work across a range of civil and infrastructure projects Supporting field work, design delivery, and contract documentation Mentoring and guiding graduates and undergrads in their technical development Working closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to solve real challenges Participating in proposals and knowledge sharing with a national team What You’ll Need Bachelor of Civil or Geotechnical Engineering RPEQ (or eligible within 1 month) 8+ years of geotechnical experience on civil and infrastructure projects Confident using Plaxis, OpenGround, AutoCAD, and other common tools Strong communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills White Card and current driver’s licence Why This Role?
