Do you enjoy mentoring others and leading by example? We Care Lawns & Gardens is looking for a Senior Groundskeeper to join our growing team. As part of the We Care Group, you’ll play a key role in delivering high‑quality lawn, garden, and outdoor maintenance services for private clients and NDIS participants—while helping develop the next generation of groundskeepers. About the Role The Senior Groundskeeper is a leadership position responsible for delivering excellent outdoor maintenance services while supporting, training and guiding junior groundskeepers. Responsibilities Lead day‑to‑day lawn and garden operations Mentor and train junior staff Support the Manager – Home & Lawn Maintenance Services Ensure safety, quality and service standards are consistently met Carry out mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, hedging, green waste removal and general outdoor maintenance Operate and maintain machinery and equipment Represent the We Care brand with professionalism, reliability and pride What You’ll Bring Proven experience in lawn mowing, gardening, landscaping or grounds maintenance Strong practical skills using outdoor power equipment Ability to lead, support and mentor a junior team member Great communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and follow job schedules A strong safety mindset Current driver’s licence (required) NDIS Workers Screening Check or willingness to obtain White Card (preferred) Why Join We Care?
