They are a global corporate services leader.Job DescriptionDeveloping and maintaining legal precedents, driving consistency and continuous improvementDrafting, reviewing and negotiating works and consultancy contracts, service agreements and other general commercial contractsProviding legal sign-off to facilitate documentation execution by the firm and its clientsCo-ordinating the provision of legal services and advice to the business by external legal advisors on-time, within scope and within budgetManaging disputes, drafting letters of demand, representing our clients in tribunal hearings and mediations (in conjunction with external legal counsel) and providing recommendations for resolution and settlementAssisting with the negotiation of lease and licence documentation across retail, residential, industrial and office assetsAssisting on asset disposals and settlement requirementsAssisting with property related legal due diligence on transactionsAssisting with special projects involving the legal teamThe Successful ApplicantRequired:Experience at a reputable law firm or in-house in property, commercial, litigation or another relevant practice areaSound legal judgement combined with a strong business acumenExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsHigh attention to detail and a focus on resultsAble to operate under pressure and tight deadlinesCritical thinker and ability to solve practical problemsHigh level of customer centricityAbility to initiate and direct collaborative efforts of multiple teams throughout the organisation, including internal resources, external resources and other constituent groups as appropriate with the aim of further company goalsKnowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and DocusignEducation: Bachelor's degree or higher in LawNSW Practising CertificatePreferred:Experience in in-house legal operationsWhat's on OfferAttractive package and performance bonus
