Responsibilities Mine design for open pit and/or underground mines, scheduling, optimisation, equipment selection, and operating and capital cost estimates. Overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle (proposal, contract, scope of work, technical quality and senior review) and consulting with appropriate peers. Delivering technically appropriate and cost‑effective solutions to clients that meet time, budget, quality and safety requirements. Carrying out technical work in support of due diligence reviews supporting mergers and acquisitions under the supervision of senior and principal engineers. Managing the preparation of tenders, proposals and reports for clients. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mining Engineering or a related discipline. 15+ years of experience in mining engineering across studies, operations, and/or consulting. Proven capability in mine design, scheduling, optimisation, and technical review. Strong commercial acumen and experience working directly with clients on advisory and technical assignments. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to turn insights into clear, meaningful recommendations.
