About the Position We are currently looking for a Credit Controller, the role will have the opportunity to support all aspects of Accounts Receivable and Credit Control. It is a hands‑on role working within a passionate, highly capable and supportive accounts team partnering with customers and key internal stakeholders. About You Are you a proactive, solutions‑oriented professional with a strong attention to detail with a solid background in credit control and financial operations? Do you have a proven ability to assess risk, resolve complex account issues, and foster strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders? If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear. Key Responsibilities Manage and monitor the credit control process, following up on overdue payments, and resolving any disputes. Conduct thorough credit risk assessments and recommend credit limits in line with company policies, escalating high‑risk accounts when required. Manage customer accounts efficiently, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date to support compliance requirements. Issue reminder notices and credit hold communications in accordance with agreed credit control timeline. Work collaboratively with Sales and Customer Service teams to resolve overdue payments, aged claims, and to reduce the risk of recurring delays. Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities, ensuring all reconciliations and journals are completed accurately and on time. Manage and resolve complex account matters by applying sound judgment and preparing detailed, evidence‑backed summaries and action plans. Qualifications & Skills Strong attention to detail. Understand basic concept of Accounts receivables. Maintains professionalism when handling urgency matters and escalations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of professionalism. Sound understanding of AU and NZ systems and legal business structures relevant to credit risk assessment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with Excel at an intermediate to advanced level. Capable of working independently and meeting deadlines. Familiarity with internal audit control frameworks is advantageous. Tertiary qualification in Finance or a related discipline (preferred). Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Credit Control or Accounts Receivable functions (preferred). Proficient in ERP and related platforms. We use MP5 and Zendesk.
