About the role You support a major ICT modernisation program by analysing business processes, mapping future state needs, and translating requirements for technical teams. You work with the business architect and project stakeholders across applications, data, cyber, and infrastructure. Both intermediate and senior roles are available. The work location is Canberra with hybrid flexibility. NV1 is required. Key Responsibilities Lead business and system analysis for a complex ICT uplift program. Build relationships with stakeholders and facilitate requirement-gathering workshops. Produce process maps, data models, business scenarios, and use cases. Provide strategic advice to project managers and leadership teams. Identify and recommend process improvements. Support overall program objectives and team deliverables. Highly desirable criteria Experience with ICT modernisation programs in a federal government environment. 5 or more years as a Business Analyst in federal government. Experience across ICT infrastructure, applications, cyber, data, or data migration. Knowledge of PSPF, ISM, Essential 8 or similar requirements. Desirable criteria Experience working with technical stakeholders across architecture, cyber, and data. Familiarity with strategic roadmaps and enterprise requirements. Skills and experience Strong experience analysing current and future business processes and information flows. Skilled in data analysis, user pathways, and requirements development. Skilled workshop facilitator for complex requirement sessions. Strong problem solving, risk awareness, and solution development. Strong written and verbal communication for senior stakeholders. Benefits Contract to 30 June 2026. Option for two 12-month extensions. Hybrid work arrangement in Canberra. Work on a high-priority federal government modernisation program.
