Talent International are currently recruiting for a System Build Engineer to work for Queensland Police Services. This role is based in Brisbane on a 6 months contract. About the role The Senior Infrastructure Build Specialist will be a member of the Technology Refresh and Data Centre directorate and may be assigned to work on a range of different BAU and project activities over the duration of the engagement, and may be required to work concurrently on multiple projects. About you Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated server operating system builds for physical, virtual and cloud servers which support business operations of partner agencies. Plan and manage the implementation of physical servers, virtual servers, cloud servers, storage infrastructure that is consistent with detailed designs, delivery of self-service portals, and supervise capacity management of virtual server and storage infrastructure to meet current and future needs of partner agencies. Plan and manage implementation of processes and procedures, tools and techniques for designing and implementing Virtual and Storage solutions. Support virtual and storage environments that operate 24 hours by 7 day operations with high availability. Support the introduction and use of techniques, methodologies and tools to match overall current and future business requirements. Analyse and resolve system issues within a complex ICT infrastructure environment for the agencies. Must have experience (least 5 years) Infrastructure as code (Terraform) Strong knowledge of Operating Systems - Windows Server 2019 / 2022. Experience in AWS Active Directory DNS Scripting (PowerShell) Directory Services (Group Policy) Physical server OS install over network Desirable Cloud hosting operations support ITIL v3 / v4 qualification. Basic network experience - administration - f5, basic switches, router, and firewalls. Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher etc) Virtual Infrastructure (VMware vCentre, SRM, View) Nutanix AHV Monitoring / Alerting (SCOM) Windows Clustering / Network Load Balancing Windows Distributed File System ADFS / DHCP / WINS Scripting (Bash) #J-18808-Ljbffr
