Top Class International Pty Ltd – Warrnambool VIC The role is as a cook in a busy kitchen, reporting to the Head Chef and reporting indirectly to the Second Chef. You will be responsible for the hands‑on aspects of food preparation and service. This is a role that would suit a cook with aspirations to working at chef level. Task & responsibilities Assisting senior kitchen staff in menu planning Estimating, monitoring, ordering, and managing stock of supplies Monitoring and checking the qualify of ingredients Preparing ingredients ready for service Preparing meals to order with kitchen team Monitoring quality and presentation of dishes Mentoring and training kitchen staff as required Working under the instruction of the Head Chef Liaison with front of house staff during service Ensuring hygiene in accordance with regulations and best practice Qualification & experience Qualified as cook or chef Must have, or be prepared to attain, Safe Food Handling Certificate Minimum of 3 years industry‑based experience About Company The Cally Hotel is a busy and well‑respected provider of hospitality, food, entertainment and accommodation in Warrnambool.
