Locum Pharmacist

Clinical PharmacistLocation: West Central VictoriaTravel and accommodation provided. Client & Location Information: Public hospital located in the Wimmera region of western VIC, approximately 300kms from Melbourne. This charming regional city is known for its friendly locals and beautiful parks, surrounded by fertile farmland and offering a variety of outdoor activities, including fishing, hiking, and cycling. Explore the rugged landscapes of the Grampians National Park or the unique flora and fauna of Little Desert National Park.
Job Specification: You will be working alongside a team of 6 other pharmacists and 3 dispensary technicians using IPharmacy dispense. Your duties will include: dispensing, clinical ward pharmacy including checking and signing charts, medication reconciliation, communication with the treating team, and providing medication advice. Must be happy to work across the wards, not just dispensary.Dates: Monday 4th November (or ASAP in November) to Friday 31st January 2025.
Work Hours: 8:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday (1/2hr break).
Experience Required: Registered as a pharmacist with the pharmacy board (AHPRA registration).Experience with IPharmacy dispense.Ward pharmacy experience in a public hospital preferable.Commitment to medication management.Salary & Benefits: $65/hr + Super
