KJR is looking for an analyst programmer. This is an opportunity to join a vibrant, fun organisation that understands quality starts with its people. You will work closely with our team helping drive best practices and processes, as well as ensuring great product quality through various testing activities. You will receive ongoing training and career advancement opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Consult with business stakeholders to draw high level requirements based on the client’s needs. Researching and analysing stakeholders’ requirements and developing technical requirement specification documents. Evaluating existing systems and organisational needs to determine relevant system requirements and to identify technology limitations, deficiencies, and areas for improvement. Testing and debugging applications to ensure they meet required specifications and performance standards as defined by stakeholders’ needs. Assisting in development, maintenance and upgrading test artefacts. Diagnosing defects during software development by following established testing protocols and quality guidelines. Writing and maintaining program code based on system requirements, design documents, and technical specifications. Optimising existing applications with improved tech stacks and database structures to ensure relevancy and improve security. Ensuring all coding and development work complies with accredited industry standards and security protocols. Documenting project and sprint deliverables. Creating and maintaining technical documentation, standard operating procedures & end-user guides. Providing expert advice and recommendations for software design, including cost evaluations and proposals on improving technological resiliency by identifying avenues for software and security upgrades. Assist in delivering software development projects adhering to Agile methodology by handling BDD user stories, their design and test artefacts within iterative sprint cycles. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as an Analyst Programmer or similar role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Applicants must be committed to working permanently, full-time, 38 hours per week. Salary & benefits Salary range of $80,000 - $85,000 per annum + superannuation. Join a close knit and supportive unit, with WFH flexibility.
