Join a not-for-profit Aboriginal Medical Service dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in beautiful Tamworth NSW. What’s on offer $200 per hour + super Monday – Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm Up to $10,000 relocation assistance available Opportunity to contribute to culturally safe, patient-centred healthcare Supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team environment Professional development and CPD support Enjoy a relaxed rural lifestyle in the heart of the Liverpool Plains region Key responsibilities Deliver high-quality, comprehensive primary healthcare including acute, chronic, preventative, and health promotion services Provide culturally safe, evidence-based clinical care in alignment with RACGP standards Conduct outreach and community clinics as required (e.g. aged care, nursing facilities) Collaborate with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimise patient outcomes Ensure timely, accurate documentation and compliance with Medicare billing requirements Supervise registrars and medical students as appropriate Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement activities, and practice accreditation Contribute to the ongoing development of health programs and community engagement initiatives About you Current AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM (essential) Strong diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills Empathy, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to holistic patient care Current Working with Children Check, Driver’s Licence, and Professional Indemnity Insurance Covid-19 vaccination in accordance with government requirements Full working rights no sponsorship available Ready to join the team?
