Lawyer Commercial Disputes Excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer to join a leading commercial disputes practice Direct mentoring from the Partners in the team Free fitness classes wellness program & regular social events About the role As a result of growth we have a fantastic opportunity for a Lawyer with 1-2 years PAE to join our thriving and innovative Commercial Disputes team. The team services a broad mix of clients including large corporates, SMEs, high net worth individuals, insolvency practitioners, local councils and government. We are looking for lawyers who have the drive and capacity to succeed in a busy and high-performing practice. While this role is based in our Sydney CBD office at Bartier Perry we all have the opportunity to work flexibly and remotely. About you 1 to 2 years of post-admission experience with a focus on commercial disputes and litigation A working knowledge of court practice and procedures Experience with managing different client types and building relationships with senior lawyers in the team Enthusiasm for participating in the team's business development program i.e. article writing attending industry events hosting seminars and direct client relationship building A strong work ethic and ability to manage competing priorities Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong research and problem‑solving methods Excellent time management and ability to work to meet deadlines Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
