Civil Project Manager – Site-Based

About Us MCA Engineering is a leading provider of engineering and construction services to the mining and industrial sectors across Australia. Our team is known for tackling complex projects with innovative solutions and a focus on safety, quality and performance. Project Overview We are starting a new project near Dubbo and are now looking for a site-based Civil Project Manager for a minimum 6‑month project. This is a FIFO or DIDO role with accommodation provided. You will be working hands‑on to help deliver civil infrastructure as part of a mining surface construction project. Previous Projects Shaft Equipping Manufacturing winding systems Rising mains Concrete slick lines Conveyance design and manufacture Ore pass design and installation Passive mooring systems oil and gas Conveyor systems FRP Projects Labour Hire & Mine Maintenance Responsibilities Full project lifecycle management from planning and mobilisation through to execution and close‑out Coordinate civil construction works including formwork, concreting and steel fixing Manage schedules, budgets, resources and subcontractors Oversee HSE compliance and ensure project quality standards are met Engage regularly with clients, site personnel and stakeholders Identify project risks and lead issue resolution on site Report on project progress, variations and key milestones Ensure effective communication and team collaboration across disciplines Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering Proven experience managing civil construction projects in mining / heavy industrial environments Strong leadership and planning skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management Proficiency in interpreting multi‑disciplinary drawings and construction documentation Strong site‑based experience and understanding of safety, QA and construction compliance Excellent communication and coordination skills Confident working independently in remote locations on rosters Familiarity with P6 or other scheduling tools (desirable) Able to commence work within the next 3‑4 weeks Must be able to pass regular D&A testing and site required medicals Benefits Competitive salary and benefits FIFO / DIDO with full accommodation provided Supportive and experienced team Opportunity to work on complex and rewarding infrastructure projects Strong safety culture and long‑term career prospects Application Process Apply now by sending your resume and cover letter to the hiring manager. #J-18808-Ljbffr
