Role: Electrical Engineer Step into a pivotal role with a high-impact team in Wollongong, where you’ll lead the delivery of cutting-edge electrical and automation solutions across complex, heavy industrial projects. Responsibilities: Collaborate with clients to define scope, technical requirements, and project outcomes. Lead the development of electrical documentation — including single-line diagrams, schematics, scopes of work, and equipment schedules. Oversee project execution to ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery. Champion a strong safety and quality culture across all phases of project delivery. Desirable Experience and Skills: 3+ years’ experience in heavy industrial electrical projects — construction, commissioning, or maintenance. Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design tools such as PowerCAD or equivalent. Solid understanding of Australian Standards and electrical design principles. Exposure to control systems, instrumentation, and industrial networks. Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering. Essential Attributes: Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Proven ability to manage technical deliverables in fast-paced, site-based environments. Exceptional problem-solving with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset. Ability to coordinate contractors and disciplines for seamless project delivery. High level of accountability and ownership over outcomes. Adaptability to shifting priorities and site conditions. Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project cost drivers.
