You’ll ensure these approaches align with the School’s commitment to human-centred, future-focused education and deliver measurable impact across courses and programs, helping graduates thrive as leaders in the global business landscape. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Provide leadership in innovative and successful pedagogical approaches and technologies to enhance the student learning experience within the School. Advise and assist UQ Business School academic staff, professional staff, and other University staff to design, develop, implement and evaluate learning experiences, resources, tools and processes that support student learning, with a focus on the incorporation of tools and frameworks for the use of AI in learning and assessment. Identify, design, develop, evaluate and manage specific educational projects in collaboration with other Learning Team members, School professional staff teams and academic teams as directed, including curriculum reviews and curriculum uplift. Maintain knowledge of current practices, research and future opportunities in teaching and learning across the higher education sector, especially in relation to AI, and communicate this knowledge to the School and the wider University community. Contribute to and participate in School, University and external learning design communities. Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and evaluating innovative learning and teaching approaches in higher education, preferably within a business context. Proven ability to apply contemporary learning design principles, including inclusive and evidence-based pedagogies, to enhance student learning outcomes. Experience supporting academic staff in curriculum development, with a focus on embedding emerging educational technologies and digital tools that support AI literacy, data-informed learning or critical thinking into learning experiences. Demonstrated understanding of the opportunities and challenges presented by AI in higher education, and the ability to support the integration of AI-ready and human-centred approaches into curriculum and teaching practice. Demonstrated ability to work independently, to manage time and projects and to use data and feedback to inform continuous improvement. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with academic and professional staff to support teaching.
