Assistant Manager - Tools & Equipment Retail Leader Location : Mile End Salary : $70K - $75K + Super + Bonuses + Shares Roster : 38 hours per week, rotating roster with 1 in 3 weekends About Our Client Our client is a leading tools and equipment retailer, known for providing premium products and expert advice to tradespeople, DIY enthusiasts, and professionals. About the Role Based in Mile End, this Assistant Store Manager role supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily retail and warehouse operations. You'll play a key role in driving sales, leading by example, and ensuring operational excellence while mentoring your team to achieve outstanding results. What You Will Do Lead from the front to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales performance. Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations, rostering, and stock control. Motivate, coach, and develop team members to achieve KPIs and grow capability. Contribute to visual merchandising and store presentation standards. Maintain compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and operational guidelines. What You Will Bring Previous experience in retail leadership, ideally within tools, trade, or large-format retail. Strong people and operational skills with a focus on teamwork and performance. Proven ability to drive sales, manage priorities, and maintain high store standards. A customer-first mindset and hands‑on leadership approach.
