If you’re passionate about the future of energy and ways energy storage solutions can make alternative and sustainable energy sources more viable, we’d love to hear from you.Our APAC Installation, Commissioning & Service team is growing, and we're seeking a Manager Commissioning to join us. As the Manager Commissioning, you will manage all aspects related to the scope of commissioning our BESS systems. This includes scoping, planning, and executing the plan, including supervising internal and external resources assigned to the project.The supervision of field service team members on a project could be as small as 1 team member or up to 30 + team members on larger installation/commissioning projects.This position is critical to ensuring commissioning activities are executed on time and on budget. It will include being a leader in site safety, which is the foremost priority, and acting as a site-level role model and trainer to all Powin and ASPs assigned to the project for which they are responsible.Prioritize and enforce safe work practices and policies as described in the Energy Control Program, Installation and Maintenancemanuals.Ensure safe work practices on the job site in compliance with federal and state regulations.You will be the company’s onsite, customer-focused ambassador; adhere to the customer’s safety program and onsite safety protocols; serve as a Company resource for answering technical questions pertaining to Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) installation manual, commissioning, and field operations.Complete and submit all required documentation and reporting, such as Daily Reports, Checklists, Field Reports, Commissioning Reports, scheduled service reports, Quality Issue reports, etc.Act as training lead for installers, contractors, and ASP Approved Service Provider teams.Support the development and execution of commissioning plans, including resourcing, logistics, and scheduling as required.Supervise onsite BESS commissioning and acceptance testing with support from remote Commissioning engineering (CET) andremote operation center (ROC)Supervise battery examinations/inspections, identify and resolve issues and errors, and perform final commissioning.Provide remote commissioning support and fault isolation troubleshooting support when required.Work directly with HVAC, Fire Suppression System (FSS), Power Conversion System (PCS) and other OEM equipment certified technicians.Qualifications:5+ years of relevant work & leadership experienceExperience with creating and maintaining project schedules related to electrical construction.Ability to read electrical and/or mechanical drawings and specifications and understand terms and conditions of Project Contracts,Subcontracts, and Purchase OrdersStrong computer skills and experience with MS Office software (including Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, and PowerPoint), Jira,Confluence, and other collaboration and project management tools.Demonstrated ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with customers, members of a project team,contractors, and subcontractors.Excellent verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skillsDemonstrated experience in customer-focused problem solving.Powin is not accepting resumes from unsolicited headhunters or agencies at this time.EEO STATEMENT: The Company is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices and laws.
