Award: Neighbourhood Houses and Adult Community Education Centres Collective Agreement: 2024 Award Grade: Adult & Community Education Employees ESPSE Level 7 Role categories: Adult Education Administrators, Teachers, Tutors and Adult Education Salary: Salary in the ESPSE Level 7 range, based on qualifications and experience Work Hours: 25-32 hours a week over 5 days (Monday‑Friday) Leave Entitlements: 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% leave loading; must be taken at Centre closure 3 weeks over Christmas & New Years and remainder during school holidays; paid 3 days ex‑gratia leave between Christmas and New Year. Long Service Leave: Pro‑rata access after 7 years continuous service Probation: 6‑month probation period Reporting to the CCC Assistant Manager, the Adult Education Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the delivery of all Adult Education functions including ACFE, AMEP, and fee‑for‑service programmes at the Centre. Responsibilities Oversee delivery of Adult Education functions including ACFE, AMEP and fee‑for‑service programmes at the Centre. Ensure compliance with administrative and reporting requirements of CCC Management, Board and all contractual requirements and delivery standards of funding providers such as ACFE, AMEP (via partnership with Melbourne Polytechnic), accreditation frameworks (AQTF, VRQA) and ACFE Business Viability Guidelines. Provide effective leadership and management of adult education salaried administrators, tutors and volunteers to achieve CCC vision and objectives. Responsible for staff recruitment, assignment of duties and management and appraisal of performance. May be assigned hours as an adult education teacher/tutor depending on availability and class numbers. #J-18808-Ljbffr
