Coordinator, Transition Experience and Spaces Help shape the student journey at Swinburne Full-time, ongoing position based at our Hawthorn campus HEW Level 6 salary + 17% super and staff benefits About The Role Join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping an exceptional student journey. As Coordinator, Transition Experience and Spaces, you’ll enhance the quality, accessibility, and impact of student-facing experiences across Orientation and Transition programs, as well as non‑teaching student amenities and spaces. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Student Transition, you’ll ensure a seamless and engaging experience by coordinating design, marketing, processes, and service improvements. This role works collaboratively with internal teams and external partners, proactively engaging stakeholders to deliver initiatives that foster belonging, streamline access to Orientation resources, and optimise student spaces. You’ll bring together diverse perspectives to embed a cohesive visual identity, user experience, and service design approach across projects—making a real difference in how students connect and thrive. About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: Design and maintain the visual identity of Orientation across all platforms and materials in consultation with internal stakeholders. Coordinate the production of digital and print assets including signage, collateral, handbooks, uniforms, and merchandise, ensuring consistency and alignment with university brand standards. Plan and implement wayfinding strategies and on‑ground support initiatives for commencing students during orientation periods. Coordinate student bookings and special use of student‑facing spaces, ensuring clear and consistent policies and procedures are in place to support equitable and student‑centered access. Establish, communicate, and maintain clear process and timelines, while ensuring timely and accurate communication with stakeholders. Support the delivery of other programs and initiatives within the team and wider Student Engagement portfolio as required.
