Lee Brothers is an Australian owned company that has been in the safety workwear and PPE industry for the past 20 years. We provide Tuffwear™ workwear, footwear and PPE to a number of large national customers. We currently have operations in Brisbane, Sydney and Perth. We are seeking a full-time storeperson at our Landsdale warehouse in Perth for up to 38 hours per week. This role will be ongoing and we are seeking someone who wants to be part of the Tuffwear team long term. This is no ordinary role Your day will be split between the computer and picking/packing/dispatching orders on a daily basis. Responsibilities Picking, packing and dispatch of customer workwear orders (freight management) from paper-based customer orders (we do not pick from RF scanners) Dispatching work orders for customer embroidery Checking of all incoming supplier purchase orders Checking of all incoming inter-warehouse transfers Label and put away all incoming stock General warehouse duties as required General housekeeping duties of the warehouse and other work areas Use of an order picker machine (must be ok with heights) Use of a forklift on occasion (extremely limited usage – must have current forklift license or be willing to obtain one within a short amount of time upon commencement at your expense) Qualifications and Requirements Very good computer skills (more than 50% of time computer based) Excellent attention to detail for accurate order picking, packing & dispatch Very good math skills, and ability to problem solve Current or planned forklift license Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling duties Excellent English speaking and writing skills Good track record of job reliability What’s in it for you? Competitive hourly rate in accordance with the relevant award - MA Up to 38 hours per week (start as casual) Permanent role available for the right candidates after short trial period (with ongoing bonus benefits) Immediate start is preferable Note - Hours will only be business hours Monday-Friday.There are no weekend or afternoon/night hours.
