This graduate position supports the Head of Supply Chain by focusing on scientific, regulatory, and project-driven tasks in research and development (R&D). You will be responsible for: Coordinate with R&D manager and compliance consultant, ensure initial product formulations to meet Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) and Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) requirements, and compile all necessary technical references and ingredient documentation. Support new ingredients sourcing from Australian and international suppliers, ensuring all technical data, traceability, and compliance information are captured. Coordinating formulation and R&D communications with Australian and international contract manufacturers. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for product stability, label accuracy, allergen declarations, and claims compliance (e.g., Halal, health claims). Support Post Market Quality Reviews (PMQR) annually for all released products, in coordination with the Quality Assurance (QA) team. Follow up regulatory changes and interpret updates that may impact product compliance. Support new product Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG) listings and supporting Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) clearance applications for new manufacturers as per direction of Head of Supply Chain and Legal consultant. Review contract manufacturer specifications prior to production and coordinate the approval process to ensure requirements are met. Support feasibility assessments for new projects to ensure formulations meet cost targets and unnecessary premium ingredients are avoided. Prepare internal product training material for new product to teams (e.g., marketing, sales, supply chain) as per product specification. Support patent applications and R&D grant applications. Coordinate the upgrade of legacy product formulas based on market feedback. Coordinate end-to-end R&D project timelines, collaborating with marketing, supply chain, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and external consultants to ensure deadlines are met. Assist the Head of Supply Chain in managing the budgets and costs of R&D projects. Skills & Attributes Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field. Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal) and strong documentation abilities. Project management knowledge or experience, with excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines. Candidates must demonstrate some practical experience in project management beyond theoretical knowledge. Strong can-do attitude, high accountability, and a collaborative mindset.
