Job Summary JCTS - Head of Medical Education Joint College Training Services (JCTS)Medical Education Full Time, Permanent5 / 3 / 2025Newly created identified opportunity located anywhere in Australia FTE permanent role with flexible work arrangements $244,000 - $264,000 + super + full charitable status salary packaging This is an Aboriginal / Torres Strait Islander identified position which is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised under section 14(d) of the Anti‑Discrimination Act About the JCTS: Joint Colleges Training Services Pty Ltd (JCTS) is a joint venture between the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). JCTS facilitates shared GP training activities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health initiatives, cultural education, mentorship, and registrar housing in remote communities. Key Responsibilities Reporting to the General Manager, you'll oversee the national governance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health education. Develop, implement, and maintain culturally safe training programmes. Collaborate with key stakeholders and support GP registrars and supervisors nationwide. Lead national governance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health education in GP training. Develop and implement culturally safe training programmes for registrars and supervisors. Collaborate with stakeholders to align education with national frameworks. Support and mentor GP registrars and supervisors in cultural education. Skills & Experience Experience in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health. Proven leadership in medical education and training. Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
