You will play a key role in supporting our donors through their donation process. Full training is provided and all you need is the curiosity and motivation to learn the process of collecting blood and biological product. Responsibilities Greet and interview potential donors to understand their eligibility and suitability to donate Create a donor experience they’ll love and want to come back; complete routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests Set up machines and collections equipment Insert and remove needles safely to collect whole blood, plasma, and platelets Monitor donors post‑donation and assist them with rebooking their next donation Work collaboratively to achieve collection targets Skills in Action Apply your customer‑facing experience to create positive, welcoming interactions Be comfortable with needles and blood/biological materials Occasionally lift between 9–22.7 kgs Support and foster a fantastic team culture Frequently stand, walk and bend to set up and pack down machines and blood products Be flexible to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster from Monday to Saturday/Sunday, including weekends and afternoon shifts Benefits and Wellbeing Minimum 5 weeks annual leave (up to 6 weeks) Access to salary packaging with an option to package up to $15,900 for living expenses and $2,650 for meals and entertainment 14 weeks paid parental leave – no waiting period for either parent Our dedicated employee assistance program – Sonder that you can access 24/7 from an app on your phone Plus, many more We are a 2025 Circle Back Initiative Employer and commit to respond to every applicant.
