Join the Civmec Team Civmec is NOW HIRING Crane Operators (130t) and Franna Operators to join our Civmec team working on the FMG‑Solomon project, tank installation. The Role Reporting to the Leading Hand/Supervisor your key responsibilities are: Able to set up cranes to the manufacturer's operator's manual including load charts Understand the fundamentals of crane computers The crane operator's responsibilities include: Knowledge of lever and pedal control The daily inspection of the crane Operating the crane under general supervision Experience with rigging of loads Experience handling different types of cranes Maintain and keep tools and equipment in a safe and clean condition; lock them away or return to store when not required Housekeeping Perform other general duties as required About You 2+ years industrial experience as a Crane Operator (130t) or Franna Operator Previous construction experience within the mining and resources sector High Risk‑Work Licence – Crane Operator (CN, C2, C6, CO) as applicable High Risk‑Work Licence – Franna Operator (CN and EWP) Working at Heights Ticket within 2 years preferred but not essential Confirmed Space Ticket within 2 years preferred but not essential Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card) Ability to complete and pass a pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol screen Civmec + You At Civmec, we offer an inclusive workplace built on family values, with a ‘Never Assume' culture, sustained by our experienced and supportive management team.
