About the Role We are seeking a skilled Stakeholder Engagement Specialist to join our Country, Culture and Partnerships Division. Reporting to the Manager, Stakeholder Engagement, you will play a key role in maintaining strong, positive relationships between PKKP AC and a wide range of stakeholders including community members, mining proponents, government agencies, pastoral leaseholders, and internal teams. You’ll help coordinate Co-Management Committees and stakeholder meetings, follow up on key actions, and ensure transparent communication across all parties. This is a dynamic and relationship-focused role that supports the PKKP community’s vision of self-determination and sustainable management of Country. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Support implementation and coordination of Co-Management and stakeholder committee meetings. Record accurate minutes, track actions, and report on outcomes. Attend consultations, including onsite visits across the PKKP Native Title Determination area. Ensure cultural safety and awareness in all engagements with Traditional Owners. Provide regular updates and reports to management. Support organisational learning through effective data tracking and continuous improvement. Collaborate with other PKKP teams to deliver strategic goals and community priorities. About You Minimum two years’ experience working with Traditional Owners or Indigenous communities. Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship management skills. Excellent administrative and Microsoft Office skills. Proven ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and contexts. Attention to detail and a proactive, professional approach. Knowledge (or willingness to learn) of mining operations and cultural heritage management. Highly Regarded Tertiary qualification in humanities, environmental science, Indigenous studies, social science, or related discipline. Experience in community relations, partnerships, or stakeholder engagement within the mining, environmental, or NFP sectors.
