SENIOR ASSOCIATE, REGULATORY AFFAIRS

We're seeking a Senior Associate, Regulatory Affairs to join our Corporate & Superannuation Trustee Services (CSTS) business unit. Reporting to the General Manager & Special Counsel, you'll provide expert legal and regulatory advice, manage compliance obligations, and support governance processes in a dynamic and highly regulated environment. About the Role Provide legal advice on regulatory change, investigations, and governance matters. Draft and review responses to regulatory notices and requests. Liaise with regulators such as APRA and ASIC, and industry bodies. Support litigation and other proceedings involving CSTS. Work independently to solve complex legal and regulatory issues. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners. What We're Looking For A strong legal background with experience in financial services or other complex, regulated environments. Admission to practise law in an Australian or other common law jurisdiction (LLB or equivalent required). Expertise in interpreting legislation, regulatory frameworks, and governance obligations. Ability to analyse complex legal issues and provide practical, risk-aware solutions. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including drafting high-quality reports and advice. Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills. A proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to work autonomously.
