The Role As we further strategically align our teams we have created a new role for a National Bid Manager to lead Compass Group Australias Bid function. This role plays a critical part in shaping our growth ambitions driving strategic and commercially focused tender responses and ensuring consistent delivery of our value proposition across sectors. This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the planning development and submission of high-quality client-focused bids that support our sector growth targets. You will lead a national team of bid specialists lift capability and work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver winning solutions. In this role you will be responsible for Leading a high-performing geographically spread bid team to deliver competitive differentiated client-focused proposals. Driving consistent application of bidding best practice tools systems and processes by translating business strategy into compelling solutions that enable profitable growth. Managing all aspects of the bid process including planning content design scheduling approvals and quality assurance. Building team capability through coaching mentoring training and effective performance development. Partnering closely with Sales Sector GMs Inside Sales and the wider Growth & Enablement team. The Person To be successful in this role you will need to have Minimum 8 years experience in bid management or a similar role. Strong leadership capability with a passion for developing high-performing teams. Experience managing complex high-value bids (contract catering or soft services industry desirable). Exceptional communication presentation planning and stakeholder management skills. Ability to craft compelling client-oriented solutions backed by evidence and insight.
