Well established, family‑centred child development centre based in Cairns is currently seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to join their growing team. This is an opportunity to become part of a friendly and collaborative group of allied health professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and their families. The Team & Workplace: The centre comprises a multidisciplinary team of over a dozen professionals, including speech pathologists, occupational therapists, and early childhood educators. The facility offers modern treatment rooms and resources, creating a nurturing environment that supports both clients and staff. The team works closely together, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous professional growth. Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and deliver evidence‑based speech and language interventions for children. Develop and implement individualised therapy plans that support functional communication outcomes. Work collaboratively with families, educators, and other therapists to ensure holistic care. Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions. Maintain accurate, professional clinical documentation. What You’ll Need: Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology. Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia. Experience in paediatric settings preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently while being a proactive team player. Highly Regarded: Experience working within the NDIS framework. Familiarity with early intervention strategies and child development frameworks.
