About The Role Join MCC Griffith as a Production Team Leader (Safety) and oversee daily production performance while championing a safe, compliant, and efficient workplace. You’ll lead production teams, resolve operational issues, and promote a strong safety culture across the site. Your Duties Supervise daily production activities, ensuring high standards of quality, service, and efficiency. Plan and update production schedules to accommodate maintenance, breakdowns, and workflow changes. Coordinate dispatch activities, manage urgent shipments, and support packing as needed. Support operators with troubleshooting, quality checks, audits, and press approvals. Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) internally and externally, driving process improvements. Lead safety initiatives as the site Safety Lead, including audits, GEMBA walks, training, and incident management. Chair and participate in WHS, Emergency Planning, and Safety Committee meetings. Deliver site safety inductions and maintain compliance with safety regulations and MCC policies. Act as a back‑up to the Production Manager and provide hands‑on support in printing, dispatch, and maintenance as required. About You Proven leadership experience in a production or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of workplace health, safety, and compliance requirements. Excellent decision‑making, problem‑solving, and organisational skills. Ability to lead by example, influence positive behaviours, and foster a team‑oriented culture. Technical understanding of production processes, quality systems, and operational workflows. Strong communication skills to engage with teams and stakeholders at all levels. Attention to detail with a proactive, hands‑on approach to challenges. Eligible for Australian working rights.
