Overview We are currently seeking a Diploma qualified (or studying towards) Lead Educator on a permanent part-time basis to join our team. This position will be a float / leave cover. The Y Queensland stand together with all people regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or belief. Up to 8% above award and 17.5% leave loading. About the role As a Lead Educator, you will guide Educators to provide a creative and discovery-filled environment for children's growth and development. You will be responsible for creating programs that are engaging, meaningful and fun for the children. Depending on the need, you will work across different rooms and lead the educators in implementing age-appropriate, exciting and educational programs and activities. What is in it for you? Assist the Centre Director in day-to-day operations as directed. Work with each child with consideration of their cultural background and respect their beliefs. Ideal candidates will meet the following: Qualifications and Passion: ACECQA approved qualification equating to Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent), or actively pursuing one. We deliver a play-based learning curriculum to help children grow in body, mind and spirit. Situated 15 minutes north of Caloundra and 7 minutes west of Bokarina, the SCUH Early Learning Centre was established in 2016 and serves hospital staff children. Operating from 6.00am to 6.00pm, we cater to up to 83 children daily, offering a dedicated programming room for creative program design.
