About the Role This role requires the collector to be technically competent and reliable, caring and compassionate. The role includes the collection of samples from patients—including blood, urine, faeces and swabs—taking delivery of samples and processing them for pick‑up by couriers. It also includes some pre‑analytical processing of blood and other samples for analysis. The role is carried out in a manner consistent with the values, quality objectives, performance goals, delegations, policies, procedures and operations of NPV and in line with the Northern Health “Code of Conduct”. Qualifications and Experience Certificate III/IV in Pathology Collection Experience and good working knowledge of Pathology Collection Proven ability to work in a team environment and autonomously Flexibility to work a 7‑day week rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays General computer skills Great time‑management Current working with children’s check (certificate) An unencumbered driver’s licence Next Steps To apply, click the ‘Apply’ button and follow the prompts.
