Graduate Engineer

We are seeking a recent graduate with a passion for mechanical engineering to contribute to the continued success and growth of our business. This full-time position will be based in Penrith, NSW and has a variety of both office and site-based work. As a Tetris Group engineer, you will play a crucial role within a highly skilled and experienced team. Duties will include design calculations and root cause analysis. You will be exposed to project management and more. Preferred candidates must be able to provide contactable references, undergo a pre-employment medical examination, and have the right to legally live and work permanently in Australia. What We are Seeking: Recent or mid 2024 mechanical engineering graduates Self-starting and motivated individuals eager to learn and apply new skills. Positive, inclusive attitude with strong analytical and communication skills Excellent organization and time management abilities Fully conversant and skilled in SolidWorks drafting (CSWA or CSWE certification an advantage What you will be doing Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Collaborating on the preparation and submission of tenders. Conducting on-site inspections as part of tender process. Contributing to successful tendering strategies. Contributing to critical decision-making processes. Utilizing your engineering education to perform design calculations. Support project managers with administrative tasks. Gain exposure to project coordination and management. Accomplish detailed drawings using Solid Works drafting software. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and procedures.
