Key responsibilities: Year‑end accounts and tax compliance for a portfolio of business clients Preparation and review of financial statements, workpapers, income tax and FBT returns Preparation of BAS and IAS Management reporting and support with general advisory queries Managing the tax lodgement program and deadlines Supervising and reviewing work of junior accountants with on‑the‑job coaching Supporting process and quality improvements within the team About you Currently in an Australian public practice firm (business services/tax), you are looking for more scope, responsibility and a visible career path. You will bring: Around 4+ years’ experience in business services / tax in an accounting firm Degree in Accounting / Commerce CA or CPA qualified or near completion Solid Australian tax and compliance knowledge Strong communication skills and confidence building client relationships Enjoyment of mentoring juniors and contributing to a positive team culture Proactive, organised and comfortable in a growth environment What’s on offer Competitive salary package based on experience Clear progression plan to more senior roles Full CA/CPA support (if still in progress) Ongoing technical and soft skills training Central Sydney office with hybrid work flexibility Extra wellbeing and birthday leave in addition to annual leave Exposure to cross‑border and complex work within a global group How to apply If you’re an early Senior looking for a larger firm or strong Intermediate Accountant in business services/tax, we’d like to hear from you.
