We partner with Linfox, a leading Australian logistics organisation, and one of Australia’s largest grocery retailers, to fulfil their growing online grocery deliveries in the Mascot area. We are seeking friendly, customer and safety focused individuals to join our team of Customer Service Agents. You will be responsible for operating small (automatic) refrigerated trucks to deliver groceries to customers (which can be to houses, individual apartments in apartment complexes or small business premises). Your working hours can be flexible and varied to suit your lifestyle, but will always be managed and monitored in line with strict fatigue guidelines. We are a seven day a week operation, and shifts are generally between 5-8 hours commencing either in the early morning or afternoon, with double shifts on a single day also available. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Monitoring the loading of your vehicle at the retail dock. Performing pre-trip inspections, maintaining good care of your allocated vehicle, and driving to multiple locations in a professional manner. Safely unpacking and hand delivering a variety of items (including alcohol, fragile and cold products) directly to consumers in your dedicated region. Presenting yourself professionally and providing excellent customer service. To be successful for this role you will: Possess the following qualifications and clearances at all times of your employment: a valid and current C Class Full Australian Drivers Licence. undertaken Responsible Supply of Alcohol Training (RSAT). a recent National Police Clearance report. a recent Driving Record report. proof of the right to work in Australia. Be able to: be available a minimum of four days per week (which must include Monday); perform the functions listed above in the ‘day to day responsibilities’; and safely handle products up to 15kg each in weight. The onboarding process involves: Completing (the below) online application form; Attending and successfully passing an In-person Information and Onboarding Session in Mascot (approx. 1 hour); Completing online training (approx. 1 hour) and passing an online induction course (approx. 1.5 hours); and Successfully completing four (paid) Buddy Training shifts with an experienced training driver.
