The opportunity: The Director of Teaching & Learning (Primary) is a senior role with broad influence across the Primary School and meaningful contribution to whole‑school (K–12) strategy. With a clear focus on pedagogy and improvement, this role offers the opportunity to elevate teaching quality, strengthen learning, and embed a cohesive, evidence‑informed approach. Reporting to the Head of Primary, the Director will: Provide senior leadership across the Primary School and contribute to K–12 priorities and school‑wide initiatives. Drive pedagogical improvement through coaching, modelling, collaborative inquiry and high‑quality professional learning. Champion evidence‑informed practice, drawing on research, data and high‑impact instructional strategies. Strengthen curriculum design, assessment processes and the effective use of data to enhance consistency and student outcomes. Partner with leaders, teachers and families to foster a high‑expectations, learner‑centred culture focused on wellbeing and achievement. About you: You will bring: Deep understanding of high‑impact pedagogy and contemporary primary teaching practice. Experience leading teams, coaching teachers and driving capability uplift. Strong knowledge of curriculum, assessment and data‑informed instruction. The ability to translate evidence into practical classroom application.
