Full time, ongoing role. 38 hours per week (1.0 FTE). Remuneration: Negotiated plus super. Super flexible, remote position with a preference for a metro Victorian base. Sustainable Table is a purpose‑driven not‑for‑profit organisation working to activate the regenerative food system with capital and connections. We work collaboratively to build thriving, just and resilient food ecosystems by catalysing philanthropy and impact investment, community leadership and systems change. Sustainable Table is recruiting for a full‑time CEO to deliver the recently finalised 3‑year strategic plan. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to come into the organisation with an existing team structure, high performing board, funding secured and a 3‑year strategic plan and put your mark on the organisation. Responsibilities Strategic leadership & vision Governance and board engagement Financial oversight and operational oversight Partnerships, advocacy and external relationships Program leadership & impact delivery People & culture of a team of approx. 10 part‑time and full‑time employees Qualifications Experienced not‑for‑profit CEO or leader Finance / Investment background (highly desirable) Experience reporting to a board and working with external auditors (desirable) Proven senior leadership experience in non‑profit, social enterprise, philanthropy, sustainability, food systems, or related fields Experience managing teams and fostering a positive organisational culture Exceptional communication, relationship‑building, and stakeholder engagement skills Strategic implementation skills Experience working in nimble, systems change organisations and managing cross‑disciplinary teams Experience with First Nations organisations or enterprises (desirable) This role is unique in that it will be a full‑time CEO responsible for all aspects of this organisation, which is supported by a part‑time co‑CEO (Creator of Ecosystem Opportunities) whose focus and title reflect their external relationship‑building skills in this busy, solutions‑focused environment.
