Vinnies Volunteer Retail Assistant - Bunbury Town Vinnies (St Vincent De Paul Society (WA) Inc.) – Bunbury WA Your contributions as a volunteer directly or indirectly enable such valuable services as home visitations that provide emergency relief assistance, recovery-focused mental health services, a range of services to prevent or alleviate homelessness, recreational programs for children and teens, financial counselling, migrant and refugee programs, distribution centre operations and retail shops, and advocating for a greater understanding of social justice issues. Key Responsibilities Greet and provide friendly service and assistance to clients and customers, including operating a POS machine and EFTPOS. Assist in sorting, pricing, ticketing, merchandising and displaying donated items in the shop. Perform all duties in line with the Vinnies Values and in accordance with the Retail Operations Manual. Observe and demonstrate good understanding of Workplace Safety & Health. Assist in maintaining the shop's cleanliness and hygiene standards, which may include dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, washing up and mopping.
