The Role Dalyellup College is seeking an innovative and effective leader with outstanding interpersonal skills to fill the role of Head of Learning Area – Mathematics to join their leadership team. The ideal leader believes in a growth mindset and displays resilience, determination, and a drive to develop a team that seeks excellence in mathematics practice and student outcomes. As a member of the School Leadership Team, you will contribute to the implementation of the school’s Business Plan through participative decision-making while promoting the school’s vision and strategic directions. You should drive improvement by providing proactive, collaborative, inspiring and supportive leadership, modelling high aspirations and expectations of staff and students. The successful applicant will lead change and innovation, using evidence-based data to inform decisions. You will analyse performance data related to the Mathematics learning area and develop, implement, and analyse improvement plans—both strategic and operational. You will develop your team of teachers by providing curriculum leadership and working collaboratively to ensure high-quality teaching is delivered to meet all students’ needs, empowering each individual to achieve their full potential.
