Locum Speech Pathologist – Community Paediatrics Overview Experienced Paediatric Speech Pathologist required for a 3‑to‑5 month locum in Central Australia. The role starts ASAP and takes place within a team of 10 allied health clinicians, providing services to children aged 0‑18 years in both urban and remote communities. Responsibilities Cover a caseload of children 0‑18 years with development delays in a community setting. Provide outreach services to remote indigenous communities as part of a multidisciplinary team. Travel up to a week at a time, about once a month, to be the sole Speech Pathologist on the ground. Work collaboratively with Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy teams, as well as other stakeholders and providers. Qualifications Minimum of 2‑3 years relevant experience in paediatric speech pathology. Senior level role; relevant experience a MUST. Valid driving licence; car will be provided for work purposes. Compensation & Working Hours Rates of $70‑$80 per hour plus super, based on experience. Working Monday – Friday.
