About the Playschool Room Our Playschool Room supports young children through one of the most significant stages of development. You’ll work alongside experienced educators who value collaboration, reflective practice, and child-led learning. About Us Established in 1993, LECC is a not-for-profit, community-managed early childhood service, proudly rated Exceeding the National Quality Standard (2023). We care for 64 children and are open Monday to Friday, 7:30am–6:00pm. In 2022, we became the first Schema Play–accredited service in Australia, and in 2025, we received the Excellence in Best Practice Award at the Early Childhood Learning and Development Awards. Our learning environments—both indoor and outdoor—are thoughtfully designed, well-resourced, and inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach.
