Join to apply for the Underwriter - Agriculture role at IAG As an Underwriter - Agriculture, you’ll determine the acceptability, conditions and pricing of insurance risks while delivering quality underwriting service for our business partners. This is a permanent full-time role based in either Ballarat or Naarm (Melbourne). What You’ll Do Work directly with brokers to underwrite insurance risks in line with product guidelines and influence partner advocacy at all available customer touchpoints Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders Assessment of risks Assisting brokers with underwriting queries by phone and email What You’ll Bring Insurance Underwriting experience strongly beneficial, or alternatively just general insurance experience at a minimum Demonstrable technical knowledge and skills from your previous role/s Have a customer focus with good verbal and written communication skills Certificate IV in General Insurance is beneficial but not essential What We Offer Boosted superannuation with 13% as standard. 20 days annual leave + 5 days MyLeave (extra leave for what’s important to you).
