Cyber Advisory Our Cyber Assurance specialists combine the skills and discipline of an auditor with technical know-how and expertise across a broad range of technology risk disciplines. With a focus on improving the resilience of information systems, our Cyber and Technology Risk Assurance team support our clients with a range of fascinating and complex technology challenges. A day in the life of a Cyber and Technology Risk Assurance consultant ranges from mastering and applying the broad range of cyber and technology frameworks we implement (e.g. NIST, PSPF/ISM, ISO27k, ITIL, etc.), to assessing the core processes and controls that ensure the availability and performance of complex technology solutions, to advising our clients on core IT Resilience strategies in relation to disaster recovery and business continuity for mission-critical systems. Job Description The Role and Responsibilities As a Senior Associate in our Cyber Assurance team, you will create value by: Working as part of a team of consultants on a broad range of engagements in the areas of Risk Management, Strategy, Governance & Culture, and Cyber Transformation. Leveraging your assurance and audit skill set to deliver high quality outcomes to our clients through a combination of hands-on delivery and coaching to more junior members of the team. Taking ownership and accountability to deliver a range of outcomes on client engagements, leveraging the broader team as required to ensure success. Supporting the development of new capabilities, products and services based on market demand. Qualifications About You As a Senior Associate within Scyne Advisory, technically, you will bring to the position: 2+ years of industry experience working with organisations implementing and/or assessing the implementation of cyber security control and technology risk mitigations A working understanding of common cyber security and IT/OT frameworks used by Australian government organisations (e.g. ISM/PSPF, ISO27k, NIST CSF, VPDSF, SACSF, ITIL, COBIT, ISA 63442, etc.). Familarity with undertaking internal audit and assurance reviews, including those aligned to the Institute of Internal Audit (IIA) Global Quality Standards and/or Australian Standards on Assurance Engagements (ASAE). A proven ability to work autonomously and deliver tasks on a project under time pressure. (Desired but not mandatory) Qualifications and certifications in recognised and relevant industry accreditations such as AWS and/or Microsoft Cloud certifications, SANS GIAC Information Security Professional (GISP), CISA, ISO27001 training, etc. (Desired but not mandatory) Ability to obtain an Australian Government security clearance would be looked upon positively but not mandatory for this role.
