About the role Are you a seasoned Systems Administrator with a strong background in managing complex ICT infrastructures? Do you have a passion for ensuring systems run smoothly, securely, and efficiently? We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join our DATS team, where you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting and maintaining a robust IT infrastructure while ensuring optimal system performance and security. As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will: Oversee and optimise the department’s IT infrastructure, including networking, telecommunications, servers, storage, and cloud services. Provide expert technical advice for ICT projects and new technology implementations to key internal and external stakeholders. We’re looking for individuals with: Proven experience in ICT systems administration, including support, maintenance, and enhancement of infrastructure and cloud environments (e.g. Microsoft 365, Azure). Strong skills in managing firewalls, switches, routers, storage solutions, and PaaS environments. Proficiency in administering MS Internet Information Services (IIS), Active Directory, Exchange, Intune, SQL Server, and network technologies across Windows and cloud platforms. Effective written communication skills for preparing reports and technical documentation. Qualifications: Applicants with relevant professional certifications such as CCNA, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, Azure Administrator Associate, or ITIL are strongly encouraged to apply.
