Senior Product Developer – Activewear & Performance Apparel JAGGAD is an Australian activewear brand that fuses performance and lifestyle through thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship, and a modern aesthetic. We’re looking for an experienced Product Developer to join our design and production team, someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has an eye for detail, and is passionate about bringing exceptional products to life from concept through to production. This role is perfect for someone who combines deep technical apparel knowledge with strong commercial awareness and the ability to build and maintain exceptional supplier relationships. The Role As Senior Product Developer, you’ll be responsible for managing the full product lifecycle fromdevelopment through to production handover. You’ll work closely with theHead of DesignandGarment Technicianto ensure every JAGGAD style meets our high standards of quality, functionality, and performance. Your days will include building and updatingdetailed tech packs, managingcostings and factory negotiations, overseeingsample timelines, and maintaining thecritical pathto ensure smooth on-time delivery. Key Responsibilities Create, manage and updateaccurate, detailed tech packsfrom design concept through proto and fit stages across all categories. Prepare and managecostings, analyse margins, and liaise with factories to achieve target pricing. Drivefactory communication, manage sample requests, approvals, and feedback across all development stages. Maintain and track theseasonal critical path, ensuring deadlines are met across fabric, trim, sample, and production milestones. Coordinate with theGarment Technicianto ensure fit, construction and quality standards are met. Build and maintainstrong supplier relationships, ensuring clarity, consistency, and professionalism in all communications. Collaborate with theHead of Designto ensure creative intent is executed within cost and production parameters. Source and develop fabrications that meet brand performance standards. Support the operations team in checking purchase orders and managing production handovers to suppliers. Monitor development timelines and proactively problem-solve to avoid delays or quality issues. Using data and customer feedback to inform technical decisions and continuous product improvement. About You 5+ years’ experience inproduct development, production, or technical design(ideally activewear, sportswear, or performance apparel). Strong understanding ofgarment construction, pattern making, fabrics, trims, and costing. Excellent attention to detail, organised and able to manage multiple ranges and timelines simultaneously. Confident in communicating directly withoverseas factories and suppliers. Proficient inAdobe Illustrator, Excel, and PLM or production systems. Strong commercial awareness with a solutions-focused mindset. Collaborative, proactive, and passionate about creating technically excellent, high-quality product.
